Dear Christian,

Your getting so big little man! I sometimes find myself looking back on pictures and videos of your first few weeks and I can’t even believe how much you’ve grown and changed.

Everyone has told me each month gets better and better and I find that to be totally true. Soon enough you will be getting around on your own and that scares your mommy. Already you can roll where you want to go, which means that I can’t turn my back on you for long! I will forgive you for saying “Da Da Da” first. Even though its your “Ma Ma Ma” who changes and feeds you. Either way it’s still fun to hear you make new sounds. Your newest favorite sound?? Raspberries! It’s really cute! That is until you do it with food in your mouth!

I know that I may regret it later, but one of my favorite things to do is to cuddle with you in bed to nap together. We snuggle close, and when I wake up I normally wake to your smiling face. It’s the best feeling in the world. I have a feeling that in a blink of an eye you won’t want to cuddle with your mommy anymore, so I want to enjoy it all while I can.

Currently your favorite toy is the blue bunny blanket that you sleep with. I can’t help but stare at the monitor to watch you cuddle with your bunny. You have this thing with tags and you love to rub the tag on your bunny to put you to sleep.

You don’t really LOVE food. It’s frustrating for me sometimes, but we will work through it. If I had to pick any food as your favorite it would definitely be yogurt. I believe that once you start feeding yourself things will go better, but only time will tell. I have never seen a baby purse their lips so tightly together when they don’t want to eat. You certainly are a strong willed little boy!

You are all boy! I think you are going to grow up to be just like your daddy! Always on the go! We joke that you have the attention span of a gnat! But there certainly could be worse people to be like. We play together all day. You know how to keep your mommy busy!

I am one lucky mom to have a little boy like you. You bring me joy every day. You are happy, pleasant and loveable. I hope you will someday look back on these letters and smile. I know I will!
