It is no surprise that I love pictures. I think those on my facebook feed will tell you that they are tired of seeing my kids. But it makes me happy. I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing photographers through this blog, and I was super blessed yet again when Ciao Bella Photography agreed to photograph my daughters Baptism. See, I am always torn because I want to be IN the moment, but I also want to capture it for memories. That is why it is so great to have someone there to take pictures for me. Nothing is better than being able to be present at such an important event, but feel confident that afterwards you will get to see snap shots of that great day. That is exactly what happened with Ciao Bella.

I am a horrid candid photographer. I seem to capture everyone’s faces in their worst moments. Same goes when I try to get my children! But somehow how photographers are able to get their little faces exactly as I see them. I was so happy to be a part of the day and the ceremony and know pictures were being taken. As a matter of fact I probably would’ve missed most of the pictures because my daughter cried through the whole ceremony!

Another bonus of having Ciao Bella Photography at the Baptism was that I was able to actually BE in the pictures myself. I feel like the mom is always hidden behind the camera, and someday I will want to look back on my younger self and see myself in the special moments.

What a day! Even better I received all of the files to use how I please. I feel like so many photographers try to gouge you on pictures after you pay for their services, but not Ciao Bella, I got to look through over 300 photos, and do with them as I please. It made my life a lot easier not having to narrow them down and choose.

I was so thankful to have Ciao Belly Photography there to capture such a special day in our lives. My family is so important to me, and I will cherish these photos for years to come. They say a picture is worth a thousand words right? Well I would agree!
