Here is a conversation between me and Captain Awesome when I was talking to a pregnant woman about labor.
She said… It sucks…it’s the worst! (My Labor PTSD had me going on and on about it)
He said…Can’t you just let it go? You keep saying how awful it was. Can’t you forget like all the other women do?
She said… No other woman FORGETS labor…EVER! Seriously?
Really Captain Awesome? FORGET labor? You push something out your hoo haa at the end of 17 hours and then you tell me to forget about it…
Men…NEVER tell a woman to get over it when it comes to labor. Bad idea…Bad idea
What’s up with that? …
I will never wish that I had something to add to this conversation, and I will always be so glad that we stuck with my planned c-section. I know I wouldn’t forget. I don’t even want to think about it. I’m not that tough… not to mention that she was almost 10 lbs. Agh! No.
You know..I always think that a C section would be perfect for me..I could plan when it happened..and prepare..but the recovery doesn’t sound too pleasant! Either way! lol
I had both… vaginal birth with my older and c-section with my younger!!! I would deliver 50 million babies vaginally rather than to ever have a c-section again!!! The “operation” was not the problem… it was the recovery that I will never forget, although in this situation, I wish I could forget how much pain I was in!! But again, some people love c-sections….
That’s what I have heard about the C! I don’t think i could handle that at all!!
