As time marches on, and my belly gets bigger, I am starting to fit into less and less of my pre pregnancy clothes. I am not sure why that surprises me, I think I should really be thankful I was able to wear it for so long! I have bought maternity clothes, but one thing I have yet to try is a set of maternity pajamas. That’s why I was extremely excited to try out a pair of maternity/nursing pajamas from Bare Necessities . My favorite part is that these pajamas can be worn both now and after I give birth. Versatility is definitely a must these days.

The site offered a few nursing/maternity options, but I decided to try out a set from the brand Japanese Weekend. The picture above showed the set in a beautiful pink color, but I decided to go with black. I think this would be a perfect set for while I’m in the hospital, and I figured darker is better after giving birth (at least I’m told).  As you can see by the picture, the wrap area around the boobs makes for easy nursing access. As for wearing it for maternity, it’s great because of the longer shirt, and the nice and forgiving waistband of the pants. I find the set to be rather flattering!

I got the set in a size small, but am wondering if I should’ve went with a medium. The size chart does say that a small fits a pre pregnancy size of 6-8, but I think when it comes to pregnancy, and post pregnancy comfort and give is key. So I would recommend maybe going a size bigger.

Overall I found the Bare Necessities site to have a lot of options, and is easy to navigate. The pajama set is exactly as it is shown in the picture and I am extremely happy with it. I look forward to wearing it the rest of my pregnancy, and at the hospital after giving birth. Yay for comfy pajamas!!

In honor of Breast Cancer awareness month, Bare Necessities will be be donating $.25 of each bra ordered in October to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. With a minimum donation of $10,000. How great is that? You get to shop, AND do a good deed at the same time!

Bare Necessities provided me with the above pajama set in order for me to do this review. As always all thoughts and opinions are my own.
