I can’t believe that my little man is 6 months old! Since he was born I have continuously been taking pictures of him, so that I can look back and see how he has grown and changed. At first I did it weekly, but then I realized that it was more fun to see him change monthly. Up until now I have been writing his age on a piece of paper and placing the paper next to him in the photo. For a while that worked, but now he likes to grab and eat the paper. No good! When I found Sticky Bellies I was able to find a new and easy way to show my boy’s age….right on his chest!
Sticky Bellies ($14.99) is an easy way to document your child’s first year and beyond. The removable sticker is gender neutral, which makes it great for both boys and girls. You just peel the sticker off the wax paper and stick it right on your baby. I happened to put it on the outfit he was in that day, but if you put it on a plain shirt or onesie it looks sewn in! When you are finished you can throw it away, or keep it in your baby book.
Another great thing is that Sticky Bellies also have monthly milestones for pregnant women! I wish I had that when I was taking my weekly pictures! They fit perfectly on the baby bump!
To order those, or the original monthly pictures, you can just stop by the Sticky Bellies Website.
An idea like this is so simple yet so useful. My handwriting stinks, so my monthly “signs” were pretty awful. Now, I can take my monthly pictures in style. At least now I don’t have to worry about fighting him over eating the paper!
I was provided with sticky bellies for the purposes of this review. As always all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Awesome Idea!
Have you seen the weekly baby photos that the guys over at younghouselove.com did with their little one? They are pretty similar to this idea, but they used photoshop on a white onesie (http://www.younghouselove.com/photo-gallery-2/claras-weekly-photo-project/).
