I’m almost done! I’ve actually been entering contests on blogs, company sites, Facebook, and Twitter since January and saving the prizes! I have three big boxes of “stuff” and a list of who’s getting what. I entered contests with specific people in mind, so it was exciting to win & cross them off the list. Now all I have to do is a little shopping, probably less than $50, to fill in the “gaps” for people that aren’t covered or I’d like to do a little extra for. Oh, and wrapping, of course… But that I can do in the privacy of my own home!
My mom shops all year too, and I always thought she was so smart about it when I was younger. I do like going into the mall once in a while around the holidays, but it’s nice to do so without the pressure of looking for that SUPER IMPORTANT gift that I may or may not find in time!

I do the same thing. I lover getting it all done and wrapped before Thanksgiving. It allows me to spend time with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Christ.

I totally agree with you! It makes such a difference. I used to get so stressed out during the holidays. It was just an accomplishment to get a parking space at the mall, and then the lines were so long in every store. Now I start really early, and it’s enjoyable. I am already almost done with my Christmas shopping. People think I am nuts, but it works for me too!
