I too am a Twilight-aholic. I have seen all the movies thus far (midnight showing of Eclipse), read the books repeatedly, been to the midnight release parties and own numerous t-shirts. It’s refreshing to see another intelligent woman who enjoys the series. Sometimes I feel like a bit of a creep when it seems that only teens like the series.

Twilight is a very good book,
and the first film, which I saw, was good as well.

As for you 34-year old House-fraus,
creaming all over Edward and these books/movies, you need to return to earth.

Your life is cleaning up shitty diapers,
shuttling the munchkins to Chuck E. Cheese,
tending to your no longer interesting husbands, and for the working girls,
being a tyrannical boss.

I’d say at age 34, you can forget about finding the perfect man and getting swept away.

That ship has sailed, and there ain’t too many shopping days ’til Christmas.

Your post is great. I really feel you. I get what you are saying about Edward. I mean, is his character for real? It’s just too good to be real, a women can only dream. I’m 40, married, w/kids and cannot get enough of the twilight love story. I got on the wagon late, but dived right in and tried to catch up. In about two months, i finished all the books, loved the ending by the way, and devoured all the twilight music. My poor kids and husband were neglected, just a little.

omg,,,,i love twilight it is amazing,,,my other half goes mad when i go on about it aswell,,the books are amazing better than the movies because you get to read wot bella and jacob really think,,,,i also find myself in the gym or on a walk and i will just day dream about twilight,,,ive even got my mam who is 50 hooked on edward haha,,my sis said how can you feel like that about a film,so i said watch it and now she understands,love it love it love it,,,becky xxxx o and team edward all the way,,,new moon i was a bit gutted because edward wernt in it much ( xx

I love Twilight! I can’t wait for Twilight Eclipse! I’m so infatuated with Taylor Lautner, lol.
I still think that the first movie was the best, but New Moon certainly wins in eye candy lol

better late than never!! It is a wonderful Love story! I read the sookie books too but like you said it’s just not the same. I have yet to read midnight sun because I am convinced she’s going to finish it..lol maybe i’m in denial.

I seem to have come late to the Twilight ‘party’ but I’m so glad I did. I have just finished reading the books then I just HAD to go buy the dvd. I’m so glad I read the books first! I even downloaded Stephanie Meyer’s unfinished manuscript “Midnight Sun” onto cd & spent 7 hours straight at my laptop reading it. I was starting to think there was something wrong with this obsession til I started searching for others. I’m SOOO glad I’m not alone. At work we have a term for books/series that have us hooked: “Crack Books”. I thought the Sookie Stackhouse novels were addictive but they have nothing on Bella & Edward. This is absolutely the greatest love story ever told. Now I I’ll have to suffer thru withdrawal until March 20th when New Moon comes out on dvd.
