I graduated with 60 other students and we were a pretty close knit group. We had cliques but we all kind of intermingled from one group to another. I can't say we are close now 10 years later but most of us keep in touch via Facebook and we try to meet up when we can. I didn’t go to the average high school. Facebook has let me connect again, but honestly, I'm much closer with friends from college. :) Btw, that picture is awesome! It was like I was writing that! I feel the same way. I would have loved to make the reunion and see everyone, but with kids, it is hard. I personally hated high school. You are right -- no room for change. I always was so much more comfortable at Youth Group, at work at the Kountry Kupboard or Golden Corral, the coffee shop and camp. I felt like I could be myself in those places and just loved the acceptance I received from people who didn't know me from high school and liked me for me. High School was a "must go" but "would rather not to" for me, which also gave me no regrets that I missed the 10 year reunion because I was in Italy. I really am glad to catch up with old friends and I am grateful for the friends I did have in high school but I am so much more grateful for who I am today and who I have become and no longer a slave to my "pigeon hole."
