No matter what size I have been, I have never felt bikini worthy. It’s worse now that I live in Hawaii. I do see people who do not conform to the media’s idea of a bikini wearer, but, here, there are plenty of young women and girls proudly displaying the bikini clad bodies while I am wearing sweat pants and a big t-shirt.

I think europeans are just more at ease with their bodies and have been brought up that way, some households have no problem walking around in the nude if they feel like it , where as many american and english households would not imagine doing this , maybe not even wish to wear a bikini, although there is always pressure to have the perfect body it seems, just be happy i say

I love VS bakinis and they are not expensive at all compared to the overpriced juicy couture bathing suits in bloomies. Although, I am guilty of buying them both (I wait for the bloomies coupons). I used to feel I needed to rock the 1 piece last summer since I felt I wasn’t thin enough anymore but to be honest sometimes bakinis are more flattering than 1 p or tankini. To be honest, I have realized I don’t care what pple think anymore. I have a flabby stomache and wish it was flat with my belly button ring but I rock the bakini and yes string! You know, you look around the beach and pool and there is ALWAYS someone that shouldn’t be wearing it and makes me feel better. And the skinny girls with the big boobs, makes me feel worse. So, I feel self concious even more having a flat chest! But, I have learned to love my body and if pple don’t that’s their problem. I always try to diet and go to the gym but I can’t help having fun in summer, drinking, etc. I have starved myself in past yrs but just remember if you think you look hot, then you do! And, I have learned that you will get noticed more and look hotter if you are confident! Men love confidence.

I’m thinking of rocking a bikini now at the beach, only I am going to use it for a head wrap. What is so unsexy about a little extra weight? In other countries, being a little over weight means ‘wealth’, and if that’s the case I am one right bitch. Most of the time I am okay with my body but it’s societies constant bicker that reminds me that I shouldn’t be. I try to remain positive. If me and a bunch of bikini models were stranded on an island, they would be the first ones to die considering I’ve got more meat on my bones …you gotta stay positive, right? DIE SKINNY MODELS, here eat a biscuit. If I ‘were’ to rock out with a bikini, it would be from the Ed Hardy line.

There is nothing unsexy about a little weight…I certainly think you should rock the bikini! I always get the Victorias secret catalog and think wow what a great suit! Then I have to remind myself I am no swimsuit model..lol…but hey my husband likes it and that’s what counts!
