In Hibernation Mode

It’s official…if you need me you can now find me on my couch for pretty much the rest of the winter. I love my couch in general, but when the temperatures drop below 30 it is pretty much impossible to get me out. I’m not proud of it. Not by any means. But it is what it is, and this hermit is happy just being at home.

So you all will know where to find me. If you think you are getting me out then I suggest tricking me with lots of alcohol…sometimes when that happens I FORGET how much winter sucks and will leave my cave.

For now I will wear warm clothes, my slippers and snuggle up with my man and my dog so I can hibernate the winter away. Come get me when it’s Spring!

So how bad are New York Winters? I’ve always wanted to live in a snowy climate…I just dream about having a white Christmas…but then end of Jan rolls around and I have to say…sick of Winter and glad to live in California…where it’s just really not cold. But hey…curling up on the couch sounds relaxing…don’t worry not too much longer til Spring!

NY Winters aren’t the worst, but for some reason they hit me hard. Sure white christmas’s sound nice, but I can’t remember the last time we had one! lol I’m good with the cold through the holidays and after that I am ready for warm again.

Girl, I am with you! Forget this cold business, bring on the spring! We’re supposed to get snow down here in Virginia this weekend, and I am not looking forward to it. Yuck!

I live in Rochester, NY and I am definitely in hibernation mode.

I actually do the same thing when it gets very hot in the summer time. I hibernate in my air conditioned house. :)

It is almost impossible for me to get out of my bed in the mornings now that it’s so cold. And the idea of putting on a skirt and tights? FORGET IT. I’m living in my comfy warm pants and sweaters.
