Thanks for the comment; happys SITs day to you! I’ve cheated on boyfriends I didn’t really want to be with in the first place, but not on anyone serious. Now, though, I can see how someone new would be attractive – those butterflies you get with someone new and all, someone who doesn’t know everything bad about you and how much your feet stink. Even so, that doesn’t excuse stepping out, especially if you haven’t made any effort to fix the problems that make you seriously consider cheating – and make you justify it to yourself.

I agree, it’s just disrespectful. If you are going to cheat, tell your spouse you don’t want to be together anymore FIRST!

I totally agree Melissa. Although I was be devasted, I’d rather someone end things with me BEFORE cheating..I think paranoia, and the low self esteem you get from a cheating spouse has to be so much worse…
